Human Migration

These eleven mobiles depict the push factors involved in human migration.  More people are on the move than ever before, so often for reasons beyond their control.  These mobiles represent those who leave their homes to escape violence, and the devastation of natural disasters.  They represent those who are bought and sold like slaves, so often women and children.  Also, they represent refugees: political, environmental and economic.  With these mobiles I hope to humanize those who are on the move.  I hope to show that many of these factors could affect any one of us on any part of the globe.  With these mobiles I intend to remind us that we all share this planet.
